Grand Hotel Wien celebrates all mothers with a superlative culinary menu

Chef de Cuisine Jürgen Lengauer and Chef Pastissière Katharina Sachsenmaier pay homage to all mothers with a very special menu for Mother's Day 2021.

"The mothers were certainly a diversely strongly affected group of the Corona pandemic and deserve the greatest thanks for their enormous achievements. We want to reach out to everyone who wants to thank their mothers. A fantastic menu should be the perfect setting for a celebration!" says Chef de Cuisine Jürgen Lengauer.

The full force of spring cooking will flow into the nine courses. The menu consists of Ceviche, Vulcano pork ham with grilled green asparagus, sushi variations, cream of asparagus soup, country chicken breast with zucchini lemon ravioli, braised veal cheek with morels and potato-chive mash. For the sweet highlight, Pattissière Katharina Sachsenmaier came up with something very special: a nougat-caramel lollipop, a rhubarb-yoghurt-strawberry tart and a chocolate brownie raspberry sicle.

The 9-course menu is also offered in a vegetarian version.

The 9-course menu costs EUR 180 for two persons and includes a bottle of Bründlmayer Brut Rosé.
On request, a beautiful bouquet of spring flowers can be booked for EUR 30 in addition.

Pick-up / Delivery
Pick-up can be made on May 9th, 2021 between 11.30 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. at the Grand Hotel Wien.
Delivery within Vienna costs EUR 25 inside the Gürtel and EUR 35 outside the Gürtel.
