Goose Season is on

After an outstanding culinary summer in the 1870 Restaurant Terrace Lounge, autumn has arrived at the Grand Hotel Wien along with numerous exclusive events.
In addition to monthly theme evenings such as a Johann Strauss gala dinner with musical accompaniment or a wine or champagne tasting with individually tailored menus, the kitchen team around Executive Chef Jürgen Lengauer has also created new à la carte dishes.
The 26th October 2022 (until 27th November 2022) marks the start of the annual goose season with us, which is why, in addition to business lunches and seasonal à la carte dishes, there is also a truly "gansheitlich" additional menu with gourmet pieces of goose.
From roasted goose liver with Calvados, Styrian apple and homemade brioche to classic goose chowder and glazed organic goose with red cabbage and dumplings, the menu ends with baked apple with organic nuts, marzipan and vanilla sauce.
On special theme evenings, only the special menu is offered.
