Authentic Japanese Donburi Rice Bowls

The UNKAI - Bar & Sushi starting on 15^th June 2021 offers Donburi Rice Bowls, prepared in the traditional Japanese way. In Japan, these bowls are extremely popular, and are enjoyed for lunch as well as for dinner. The sushi bar of the Grand Hotel Wien offers three different versions of the Japanese delicacy:

TEKKADON SET
The Tekkadon Set consists of a miso soup and a large bowl with tuna, pickled vegetables, wasabi, rice and a special dressing for 24 € per person.

UNADON SET
The Unadon Set spoils guests with a miso soup and a large bowl with unagi (grilled eel in teriyaki), pickled vegetables, rice and special dressing for 26 € per person.

KAISENDON SET
The absolute luxury version of the Donburi Rice Bowls is the Kaisendon Set, which consists of miso soup and a large bowl with tuna, salmon, squid, caviar, sea bass, shrimp, pickled vegetables, wasabi, nori, rice and special dressing. The set costs 27 € per person.

UNKAI SET
Also new on the menu is the "Unkai Salad", which is perfect for the start of summer with avocado, tofu, tomatoes, radish and special dressing. The salad costs 7.90 €.

In good weather, you can enjoy the new bowls at the outdoor terrace of UNKAI - Bar & Sushi with a view on Vienna's famous Ringstraße.
