Safe Stay at the Grand Hotel Wien

The personal health of our guests and our employees is our top priority. We demonstrate this, among other things, by participating in the "Safe Stay" initiative of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hotel Industry Section in cooperation with Wien Tourismus.

All members of staff – no matter if working in a restaurant or a different area of the hotel – are wearing FFP2 face masks during working hours. In addition to additional disinfection measures, new service procedures and security measures for employees and guests, there is a Covid19 representative who coordinates compliance with these measures and acts as a contact person!

We also voluntarily commit ourselves to comply with additional COVID19 protective measures.

The Grand Hotel Wien offers all employees the opportunity to voluntarily have themselves tested for the Corona virus once a week.

In addition, all employees are given a fever test before starting to work. Only at normal temperature are people are given access to their working place.

In addition, we have taken care of additional hygiene measures in the rooms and suites. Each room is disinfected with a special cold nebuliser before arrival. The pens are in protective covers, the TV remote control is disinfected separately. All magazines were removed for safety reasons. Our guests will find a disinfectant dispenser in every bathroom. The public areas and toilets were also equipped with disinfectant.
